10 months and ALF walks!

Kinda, sorta, not really...

 10 months already!  She acts so much older. :)

ALF wanted to use her walker today since lately she is trying to stand all the time.

I've got to see a man about a horse...

ALF went to Finnerty Funny Farm Stable today at Vernon Downs to see grandpa and Merlin.  Grandpa is pretty nifty but Merlin made her a little uneasy.  She loves horses... as long as they don't touch her.  She had a lot of fun and she can't wait to go back. 

I love grandpa! He sure is swell. I can't wait for him to buy me a horse! :)

ALF at the Sagamore

ALF and I went to the Sagamore today and pretended to be rich.  We wanted to see how the other half 1% lives.  We walked around the place like we were guests.  We hung out on by the water, took a stroll through the resort, and played croquet.

 ALF has expensive taste. 

 A baby could get used to this.

ALF went to the library and got her very own library card! She borrowed an excellent bestseller for her first book.

9 month checkup

ALF had her 9 month check up today.  She is 27 1/2" tall (40th percentile).  She weighs 18 lbs (29th percentile).  And has a head circumference of 18 1/4" (93rd percentile).  So she is short and skinny with a huge noggin.  

She is very healthy and on track with all her major milestones.  Still no teeth comin' in.  She has eczema, particularly on her elbows and knees.  But that is nothing new. 

She had chopped up banana for lunch today.  Who needs teeth when rock hard gums do the trick?

Beach bum

ALF went back to the beach today.  She had fun with the Casler's. It was a great day til Dada decided it would be fun to dip ALF's head in the water. Now Dada knows better.  ALF made sure the whole beach knew how unhappy she was.

Animals and Ice Cream

ALF had another busy day today!  She went to Fort Rickey and discovered the fun.  She saw all sorts of animals and had a great time with Grandma, Aunt Christy, and Uncle Sovann!

Then ALF went to the park with her bff Violet.  They swung on swings and slid down slides!  After that they got ice cream!

A weekend with ALF

It was a busy weekend for ALF.  On Saturday, we traveled back to the CNY to go to the Finnerty family reunion.

 

She saw her Uncle John, Aunt Christina, and Rowan!  Bridget too!

 It's a monster!  Run!

It was really hot so ALF took a dip in the lake... it was really fun til she tried to drink it.

After a long day at the beach, she treated herself to a delicious cannoli. 

On Sunday, ALF got baptised.  They splashed her in the face and now she's going to heaven.  So she has that going for her... which is nice. 

 ALF is praying for a pony and a plastic rocket.

Grandma, Aunt Christy, and Uncle Sovann came up to visit this week!  ALF had a blast.  She misses them all already... good thing she'll see them again this weekend!
