Museum of Play

We went to Rochester for a dermatology check-up appointment. Dr. was very happy with how she was looking. Gave use something to try to help steer her away from the steroid ointments finally and to help with maintenance. She got to pick out a toy for being so great!

The best part is the doctor office is very close to... The Museum of Play!

Someone was "hangry"!! So we ate some pizza and were on our way! We rode the beautiful old fashioned carousel.
She made her own kaleidoscope and played some DDR...
Cinderella's pumpkin in the fairytale section. Climbed in a play area "up the bean stalk".
 Tracing on light tables.
Operating heavy machinery, no big deal.
Getting in her exercise, pedaling to get the truck to go up the hill.
Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?
Writing a postcard at the "post office".
Tree house in the special Sid the Science Kid area.
Learned about using a pulley to lift objects in a bucket from the ground up to the window.
Made our own magic wand in the Wizard area.
Dragon on the pirate ship, along the yellow brick road through Reading Adventureland.
Interactive bubble screen . Puts you in the picture and lets you make and pop bubbles. Very cool.
So much stuff, it is overwhleming, this is only a tiny sample. The Nintendo and Super Mario Bros. section was awesome - you could sit and play on a giant screen with a giant Nintendo controller!
