A Day of Weather

Anneliese forecasted the Tornado Watch for our county today...

...and advised we seek shelter in the basement.
She comforted Sophie and held her close, such a brave baby.

Memorial Day Parade and swings!

ALF loved the parade, especially the marching bands.  Her little feet were kickin' like crazy.

She is a pro, and even better at this than rolling from belly to back.

6 Month Check Up

Anneliese had a great 6 month check up! Dr. says she is perfect in every way... just has a giant noggin. She got more vaccines and a flu shot today that made her almost scream her giant head off, but she got over it pretty quickly.

Height: 26 inches = 51%
Weight: 16lbs 1oz. = 44%
Head Circumference = 17.5 inches = 91%

Busy Weekend!

ALF had a ridiculously busy weekend.  She is exhausted.  Saturday morning ALF and daddy went to the Kids Exchange Consignment Sale.  We got there right at 9am and the line went all the way around the dome.  It was nuts!  We bought a Laugh and Learn music table thingy.  Then we went to baby lap time at the library.  She struck up a conversation with a baby named Lily a la talking twins.  It was hilarious.

Today we went to Lake George and saw Keith and AnnMarie again!  We went to the Adirondack Winery for a tasting (ALF had a good time).  Then we went out to eat again at Red Lobster.  ALF enjoyed the reading material on our table. We were spoiled this weekend. 

 

ALF will miss AnnMarie.  Something about her face makes ALF giggle.

¡Ay, caramba!

Keith and AnnMarie came by the palace for a visit.  We all went out to eat mexican food at El Mexicano!  It was deliciosa.  ALF was an angel as usual.

Grandma!

Anneliese had SO much fun with Grandma the past 3 days. She smiled and laughed 97.3% of the time. She can't wait for Grandma to come back to babysit again!!

She has gotten so big and beautiful in just 6 months!

6 months old!!!

Yay!  We made it half a year and we still have all our fingers and toes!  Hooray!

Busy Day

ALF loves puppets!

ALF went to the Natural Family Festival and participated in the Great Cloth Diaper Change today.  We helped break a world record! Yay!  We bought a cloth swimmy diaper to swim in this summer. 

We also stopped by New York Toy and Hobby and bought a puppet.  ALF loves puppets.  We may need to buy this one next->

Our last stop of the day was prom.  You heard me, prom.  ALF wore her crown and made a royal appearance to appreciate her loyal subjects. 

Just a Girl and her Monkey

Anneliese has almost been able to roll over from her back to tummy and can make it about 3/4 of the way. She can also sit temporarily without support but is still a little weeble-wobbly. In one week she'll be 6 months old!! Holy moly!
